KODI KURA / CHICKEN CURRY

Ingredients:

Chicken – 1 kg

Onion (Chopped) – 2

Green chilli (Slit) – 2

Ginger garlic paste – 4 teaspoons

Garam masala – 1 teaspoon

Oil – 5 tablespoons

Salt – as required

Chilli powder – 1 teaspoon

Turmeric powder – ½ teaspoon

Water – as required




Method:

In a pressure cooker, heat oil. Add chopped onion and slit green chilli. Fry until the onion turns golden brown. Then add chicken pieces, salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, garam masala and water. Mix well and pressure cook for 6 whistles. Then cook openly without the lid until the liquid becomes a little thick. Serve hot along with rice, chapatti or roti.
